Adjustable SOSS Type Hinges are designed to be invisible when the cabinet is closed. They are hidden inside the door and the frame so that only a small part is visible when the door is open. These hinges are expensive and difficult to install. They require extensive shrouds cut in the door and the frame, which is a complex task that is best, left to master carpenters. SOSS hinges are used in high-end cabinetry, and are designed for all types of cabinet designs.

SOSS hinges create a fold in the paper template with door hardware in the annotated line. Poke a hole through the drill bit indicators in the template with a pencil. Use the template to guide the shape holes in the door with a drill fitted with drills of appropriate size.
